Love a Classic!

Cold weather means soup for dinner! In the winter months, I cook soup because it’s the best meal to warm me up after being outside. A classic favorite during the winter months is tomato soup paired with a warm grilled cheese sandwich. Just thinking about it makes my hungry!

I am going take a twist on this traditional favorite. I went ahead and recreated a recipe found on the Food Network called Easy Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese Croutons . This recipe was delicious, and incorporated the grilled cheese as croutons to place on top of the soup.

It was the perfect meal for after coming in from the outside. In the recipe it asked for Gruyere cheese, I am not a huge fan of Gruyere cheese so I swapped it with Gouda and it tasted wonderful!

I hopes everyone ventures in and creates this new spin on an old classic.

Enjoy!

“Mmmm Soup!”

Hi Everyone!

Soup Let’s Eat is designed to take a look into new and traditional soup recipes. The blog will communicate the variety of soups recipes for everyday enjoyment. I will present soups cooked myself and recommend recipes to try!

Soups are the perfect meal to stay on track to that New Year’s resolution! Eating vegetables is a struggle for many of us as it never seems to fill you up. Why am I still hungry, I just ate? Dieting creates limited meal options and leaves meal preparation restricted.

Today, I prepared a soup centered on incorporating farm fresh garden vegetables. The soup is designed to be healthy while most importantly tasting good! The soup is packed full of flavors designated to create a robust soup experience!

The starting line begins with a spoon and a bowl of soup! Join me in the endless journey of soup possibilities!
